The winner of the cat category was Ghost, a British Shorthair. The lovely owner and him could attend a photoshoot from which they could choose a large canvas or framed print.
I haven't photographed a British Shorthair yet, and I was very exited. After researching the breed, I found out they are very calm and gentle demeanor, which makes them perfect for pet photography.
Ghost was super friendly and he came greeting me already in the entrance. Just as I thought about the British Shorthair, it’s important to remember that they may not be as active as other cats and so I tried to take some time to get to know Ghost pet him a bit. He was really kind and I absolutely fell in love with him. He deserves to be the Face of Mosman Vet for sure!
Since I usually photograph outdoor, I took my portable light however after, setting up my camera and took some test photos and realised the room has plenty of natural light coming in. We captured photos where Ghost was in the beautifully organised room and also took some close ups so I could capture the details of the British Shorthair’s beautiful coat.
British Shorthairs have a unique look that begs to be captured, Ghost's eyes and fur was just so stunning, and I cannot be happier with the photos. I bet he must be Mosman's most beautiful cat, and it was a pleasure to photograph him.
I think I created some amazing photos that truly captured the beauty of this beloved breed. What do you think?
And this is the frame that is already hanging in this beautiful apartment.
As a pet photographer in Mosman I cannot wait to be booked for another amazing cat photography session. So please do not hesitate to contact me if you have a stunning, fun, lovely cat at home and you'd like to have those kind moments captured.
